What the clients say:
“I am writing to thank you for the excellent way in which you supported and guided me through my NVQ in Advice & Guidance.
The qualification I have gained will not only allow me to move forward and progress in my role but it has given me further insight and taken my skills to another level of professionalism.
My manager has voiced her encouragement and is delighted she has a member of staff on her team with this qualification.
In my role as an employment advisor I am advising clients with a Learning Disability and every module I have learnt has aided me to understand and help my clients to further their employment possibilities.
The assessment process was excellent I enjoyed having to answer questions and explain my thinking behind my actions; my service is in relevant infancy so evidence was in short supply, so providing written testimony enabled me to prove my competence.
Your patience and guidance in clarifying questions where I may not have understood first time round was excellent, you also have a very relaxed but professional manner and I have enjoyed your visits and would definitely consider progressing to the next level if you were delivering the course.
Susan Harford, Equals Enfield, July 2011
I enrolled on the IAG NVQ Level 3 in November 2010; Alex was very welcoming and I found it very easy to settle into her class. Alex ensured that the class worked at the same pace and were introduced to working on a NVQ in bitesize pieces.
I was amazed when I completed my Portfolio, because Alex made the course feel relatively easy. However, I felt that I learnt a great deal from the course which I could introduce into my current role and future advisory roles. I feel that my working practice has been enhanced and I feel more confident when dealing with Clients, the course also made me aware of how important the Employers role is within the advice guidance role, ensuring that your employer has confidentiality policies, equality etc.
I have enjoyed working with Alex and as a result will recommend this course to other advice colleagues, with the hope that they have an excellent assessor like Alex. I would also like to thank Alex for supporting me whilst I went through my redundancy and ensuring that I was able to complete the course prior to being made redundant. Alex knew how important it would be for any future opportunities to have this qualification.
I hope that I would be able to take the IAG Level 4 with Alex.
